Askeaton Contemporary Arts in association with Tottenham Hale International Studios (THIS), London have initiated an artist exchange programme, and now make a public call out for a 2017 participant.
The appointed artist-in-residence will reside in North London for two months during June and July of 2017 and will be given a large studio space at THIS. A living and work stipend is provided, accommodation in a shared house, along with travel expenses to and from the UK. An artist talk and open studio event will occur during the artist’s stay.
In celebration of Limerick’s bid to become European City of Culture in 2020, the programme will support an artist who has a connection with the Limerick region – anyone who is born, lives or studied in Limerick can apply. Individuals currently in full-time education will not be considered.
– Applications should be made by email to email@example.com by 5pm on May 2nd, 2016. Please provide the following, attached in a single pdf document: Artist statement / Proposal for the residency (what are you interested in doing in London?) / CV / 10 images of artworks with contextual information and any relevant website links.
– The completed pdf should not exceed 10mb. WeTransfer, Dropbox or multiple attached files are not accepted. A shortlisting process will occur, and final selection of the residency artist will be made by early July.
